TROUBLE! SPURS ARE IN TOWN!

By the end of Saturday, we shall know just how far United have come from recovering from their early season slump. We shall also know how far they have gone in making a statement to a certain colleague basking in the sunshine of Dubai.

Tottenham Hotspur provide the opposition this weekend in the incredible series that is the Barclays Premier League. Chelsea's near faultless start to the season coupled with our generosity away from home means that fixtures such as the game tomorrow could potentially hand us a fatal blow in this season's title race.

Spurs is one of those teams that we have somehow managed to beat regardless of the circumstances but this must be the first time in ages when they could actually boast of a more threatening line-up than we've got. It is in their midfield that their strength lies because the likes of Van der Vaart, Modric and Lennon are a handful for any opponent. Why Sir Alex didn't sign up the Dutchman is still a mystery though.

Man of the moment Javier Hernandez should start and so should a host of big names that sat out the rather agonising 3-2 victory over Wolves in the Cup. Ultimately though, we must iron out the mistakes that we've been making since the season started if we are to get the win on Saturday. We've relied on our home form to stay in the title race so we cannot fail to win two consecutive home games.

Here's to back to back wins in the league!
