PHEW! IT'S A HOME GAME!----MAN UNITED VS WEST BROMSWICH ALBION PREVIEW!

Sadly, it's come to that! The first piece of clarification I seek whenever the red devils are going to play in the league is the venue for the fixture. Our away record means that we only have to bite our nails on the road whilst we can sit back and relax at OT.

West Brom are the visitors this weekend, and so you can't see anything but a United win in this one. Not that the Baggies are a non-issue but because our home form is the reason as to why we are still in with a shout of winning the title.

Chelsea thrashed WBA 6-0 on the opening day of the season and we all brushed that aside as 'having an easy start' well I can safely say that United won't win 6-0 tomorrow (5-0 yes but not 6-0). Anyhow, the point is that Roberto Martinez's side has bagged 11 points so far this season and so are as near to us in the league as one game away. I mean to think they could beat us and then take our place in the league is (slightly) daunting.
So quite simply, we have to win this. Any other result and the press will have a field day about our ability to win that 19th title.

We've got a fairly good squad in terms of health---I think its Hargreaves and Park with niggles that will keep them out of our next few games. Hargreaves picked up a calf injury in training and so has not trained for the last few days according to the manager.
It remains to be seen if Sir Alex will start Rooney tomorrow given what's been going on in the media.

It's now five months of club football before the next long International break--good recipe for a long run of wins. I mean, a lot of trophies could be won and lost in the coming period so here's to a decent run.
Cheers!
