SO THEY ALL LIKE THE NEW THIRD KIT....AWAY WITH THE AMERICAN FLAG!

In the summer, United fans were treated to a horror of a show when the club released our new away kit. The white and blue were quite simply the perfect advert of 'colour clashing'. While the lads look smart in plain white or plain blue, the mixture can be likened to mixing sugar with sand. The blue, white and red colours that defined the kit were said to be be as a result of American ownership. However, the start of the week saw the launch of the third kit that will be basically used on our journeys away from home in the Champions League. The kit was designed as a tribute to the 1968 European Cup winning team that wore blue. 40 years on and the feat is remembered. United were the first English team to win the European Cup(a testament to the coaching qualities of Sir Matt Busby as memories of the 1958 disaster were still fresh in the minds of the players). Ronaldo, Neville, Rio and Rooney have all come out to praise the kit. Personally I wish that we play in it more this season as it does remind the players of the great history the club has and the pressure to keep the club's standards high.Enjoy the pics.
